Check Out Process
To check people out of our classes, we will need to go to the Check-In module, and click the Launch Check-Out button.
Once we’re on the Check Out page, we’ll need to scan the barcode on the first parent’s card, or enter their name in the search bar, if they don’t have a card.
We will then see a window, showing a picture of the parent, and any children they have checked in to the class. We can then call the children over, and scan the barcode on their wristband. This will bring up another window, with a picture of the parent and the child, and we can click the Approve button, if this is the right parent, and the right child, to check the child out of the class. If the parent had more than one child checked in, we can repeat the process for the next child. Once all the children that the parent checked in, have been checked out, we can click Finish, and we’ll be taken back to the Check Out page, where we can scan the card of the next parent.
First Time or Visitor Check Out
If the parent is a visitor, or is there for the first time, we’ll need to click the First Time User/Guest button, and ask the parent to enter the password they entered, when they checked their child in.
We can then scan the child’s wrist band, and we will see a new window, that shows the parent’s name, and the child’s name. If we’re happy that these are the correct details, we can click the Approve button, and the child will be checked out.
Supervisor Override
If, for some reason, a wristband can’t be scanned, or a guests password is forgotten, the Supervisor Override can be used to check children out. This button will only appear for Supervisors, or Global Supervisors, who have been given permission to override the check out process.
We will need to click the Supervisor Override button, enter our iKnow username and password, and add a reason for why we are using the Supervisor Override. Once these details have been entered, we can click the Proceed With Checkout button, to check the child out.
